E.C Row still dealing with aftermath of tornado

Wednesday evening's tornado could potentially affect your way to work Thursday morning.

Late Wednesday, Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens held a press conference updating the situation in Windsor.

About 15 homes around the Riberdy Road area have been damaged and residents could not get back into their homes, Dilkens said. City of Windsor officials were working to address the situation and Red Cross workers were on standby, Dilkens said.

Windsor police tweeted businesses around Deziel Drive in the industrial park near E.C Row could be affected. Police are advising people who work there to call ahead to make sure they can get into work.

Late Wednesday, Dilkens said there was still extensive debris around E.C Row near Jefferson Avenue and Walker Road. He advised all residents to stay away from that area while crews continued clean-up efforts.

It was not immediately clear whether it would be completely clear Thursday morning.
