Eagles Players Jalen Hurts and Jason Kelce Make Cameos in “Abbott Elementary” Season 3 Premiere
The stars were joined by teammate Brandon Graham in their appearance on the ABC comedy
Career day at Abbott Elementary brought out the NFL star power!
On the season 3 premiere of the ABC comedy, Jason Kelce, Jalen Hurts and their Philadelphia Eagles teammate Brandon Graham surprised students and teachers — via Zoom — for the special day.
“The world’s finest starting quarterback is here,” Principal Ava (played by Janelle James) joked as word of Hurts’ appearance spread around the school during the two-part opener.
In the next hilarious scene, the Eagles quarterback teased Janine Teagues (series creator and star Quinta Brunson) about her height when she ran into the room to find him on the screen.
“Hey, little girl,” Hurts, 25, said to Janine. “Look at you all dressed up for career day.”
Later in the episode, Kelce and Graham showed up to tell Hurts he is late for practice, after the quarterback's Hail Mary attempt setting up a marriage proposal involving Melissa Schemmenti (Lisa Ann Walter) went awry.
Kelce's cameo, meanwhile, comes at a seemingly career crossroads.

While he has not announced whether he’ll be coming back to the Eagles for a 14th season, Kelce has frequently discussed retirement.
"I don’t know what’s going to happen for me, but I do know I still want to be involved in the organization and still want to be a part of it — regardless of what the decision is,” the Eagles center 36, told The Philadelphia Inquirer last month.
He added, “Because I don’t want to ever feel like I’m on the outside looking in on these achievements and these accolades and these opportunities that largely represent entire cities and fan bases and organizations.”
