Early morning fire damages Regina home

A Regina fire inspector has been on the scene of a house fire that happened early Tuesday morning.

The fire in the Heritage area east of the General Hospital was reported around 4:30 a.m.

A small bungalow at 2216 Broder Street went up in flames. It sustained major damage.

A neighbour said a family had recently moved into the rental home.

However, there's no word on whether there was anybody home at the time of the fire.
