Easter Egg hunt with a camera

·1 min read

The Dresden Kinsmen Club has come up with a unique way to hold a COVID-19 safe Easter Egg hunt.

The group has asked area residents and businesses to put decorated eggs in their front windows. Participants are asked to take pictures of as many as they can find. These will be posted on the club’s Facebook page.

“It’s a way to get people decorating and then getting out to see what is around town,” Kinsmen president Dustyn Pumfrey says.

“It’s a way to still have an event and be safe.”

COVID-19 put the kibosh on last year’s event, which led organizers to come up with an alternative.

Decorating an egg and putting it where it’s visible to the public is the first step in getting involved. The next step is to get out and take pictures of all the eggs you can find throughout the town.

You can post on Facebook or private message the club.

Pumfrey says a number of prizes will be awarded.
