Have extra apples? Make applesauce in your Instant Pot

Like many, you've probably celebrated the arrival of fall by heading to one of the best apple orchards in America and partaking in other bucket list fall activities. But if you've grown tired of eating apples plain or baking apple pie, apple crisp, apple kugel and apple pancakes, there's a classic solution: applesauce. This childhood classic is great for a midday snack, or to have around the house as a healthy dessert option.

The Best Pie Recipes for the Holiday Season

Rich, creamy and very versatile, applesauce can be used on top of pancakes or latkes, as a standalone treat sprinkled with cinnamon or even as a substitute for eggs in certain recipes. This recipe can be made in an Instant Pot with just a few ingredients.

To start, place the apples, cinnamon, honey and water into the Instant Pot. Cook the mixture on high pressure for five minutes, then transfer it to a blender and blend everything until you've reached your desired consistency.

Fall is the perfect time to enjoy apple cider doughnuts, go to the pumpkin patch and more. But in between all of your favorite seasonal activities, try baking some of these incredible apple recipes, from apple crisp to apple stuffing.
