Edmonton Catholic church with Indigenous members and rituals prepares for Pope visit

Edmonton's Sacred Heart Church of the First People is speeding up its preparations for the Pope's visit later this month. Pope Francis is to meet with members of the Catholic church as a part of his six-day Canadian tour, which also includes stops in Quebec City and Iqaluit. The church has Indigenous and settler members who pray together using symbols, music, and rituals that are meaningful to Indigenous cultures. City: Edmonton
