Easter egg hunts
The Calgary Zoo has its Easter Eggstravaganza this Friday and Saturday. It's a huge event with face painting, bunny races, cookie decorating and more. There's also a brunch on Sunday in the Enmax Conservatory. There are three seatings for brunch at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the late-risers among us.

Butterfield Acres Farm in Rocky Ridge is also hosting their Great Legendary Easter Hunt and there are only a few times left on Friday and Saturday, but it includes the legend of the Easter Bunny.

If you are looking for an egg hunt and ski combo, Mt Norquay might just be the answer. The resort is offering a free Easter egg hunt Sunday morning starting at 10 a.m. Meet at the Patio of the Cascade Lodge to join in.

Not to be outdone, Sunshine Village has an Easter treasure hunt on Saturday and Sunday. The Easter Bunny reportedly lost his belongings all over the resort. If you help Sunshine staff find the items you can get a prize. That one's for children 12 and younger.

On Sunday, there's a non-denominational church service at 11 a.m. featuring the Easter Bunny himself, who will hand out treats and be available for selfies. That's at the top of the Strawberry Chair.
Many individual neighbourhood associations also hold their own Easter egg hunts a little closer to home, so check their websites and Facebook pages for details.
Ukrainian Easter eggs
The Calgary Farmers' Market is going to have a true pysanka artist, showing the traditional art of Ukrainian Easter egg decorating. Daena Diduck is a professional artist from Calgary. She'll be demonstrating this amazing technique and selling some of her beautiful eggs through Saturday at the market.
The Easter Bunny is also set to be at the market and will be available for photographs. All it takes is a donation to the Calgary Food Bank.

The City of Calgary is offering a free family swim on Sunday at several pools around the city.
Acadia Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Inglewood Aquatic Centre, Killarney Aquatic & Recreation Centre and Sir Winston Churchill Aquatic & Recreation Centre are all taking part, with swims from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m. All other city pools will be closed on Sunday.

Rabbit puppet workshop
The W.P. Puppet Theatre is hosting a make-your-own-rabbit-puppet workshop on Sunday at St. Matthew's United Church. That's at 2035 26A St. S.W. and it runs 1 to 3 p.m.
Tickets are required and kids and teens need an adult with them.
