Egypt's core annual inflation decreases to 5.55 pct in September

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's core annual inflation rate dropped to 5.55 percent in September, down from 5.61 percent in August, the central bank said on Thursday. Inflation spiked in Egypt after the government slashed subsidies in July 2014, pushing up fuel prices by as much as 78 percent.
