Egypt's Ezz Steel posts Q1 2015 net loss of $17 million

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's Ezz Steel's net loss in the first quarter of 2015 widened to 136 million Egyptian pounds ($17 million) from a 19 million pound loss in the same period last year, the company said on Thursday. Net sales were 4.8 billion pounds in the first quarter of 2015, down from 5.3 billion in the same period last year, it said in a statement. ($1 = 7.8300 Egyptian pounds)
