What we know about missing sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti in Aberdeen
The 32-year-olds were last seen on CCTV in Aberdeen in Scotland at around 2am on 7 January.
Police are continuing their search for two sisters who went missing in Scotland six days ago.
Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, who are part of a set of triplets, were last spotted on CCTV on Market Street in the early hours of the morning on 7 January near the River Dee in Aberdeen.
The search was extended over the weekend to the coast but it is understood the main focus of the search remains in the area of the icy river near Victoria Bridge.
Police said "extensive enquiries" are under way to trace the sisters using police dogs and the force's marine unit.
What we know
Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last seen on CCTV in Market Street at Victoria Bridge in Aberdeen at around 2.12am after leaving their home.
They crossed the bridge and turned right onto a footpath next to the River Dee, appearing to be heading in the direction of the Aberdeen Boat Club.
Eliza and Henrietta are both described as white and of slim build with long, brown hair.
Chief Inspector Darren Bruce said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace Eliza and Henrietta and searches are being carried out in and around the area where they were last seen.
"Local officers, led by specialist search advisors are being assisted by resources including police dogs and our marine unit.
“The Torry side of Victoria Bridge where they were last seen has many commercial and industrial units.
"Searches are ongoing here and we would urge businesses in and around the South Esplanade and Menzies Road area to please review their CCTV footage for early morning on Tuesday, 7 January, 2025 and contact us if it holds anything that may be relevant to our investigation. What we don't know
Whilst CCTV shows where the sisters were last seen, it is not known exactly where they were going or why they were walking where they were in the early hours of the morning.
The two sisters moved from Hungary to Scotland about seven years ago. In a statement released by the family in Hungarian on Saturday, the family urged people not to share unfounded rumours about their disappearance.
Police Scotland said it has the support of police in their home country, who are liaising with the wider family.
The sisters’ brother Jozsef has told the BBC that their mother spoke to the pair on Saturday and that nothing seemed out of the ordinary with them.
