WARNING: This story contains Game of Thrones spoilers.

  • Emilia Clarke posted an Instagram photo with Kit Harington and joked that it's their "family portrait," alluding to their Game of Thrones characters, Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, who are aunt and nephew (and lovers) on the show.

  • The image shows Clarke and Harington off of the GoT set, posing with a viking cardboard cutout.

  • Daenerys only found out that Jon is her nephew in the latest episode of GoT, but that's "so normal" to her," Clarke explained. She has bigger concerns, like the Iron Throne.

Daenerys Targaryen may be having trouble accepting that her new boyfriend, Jon Snow, is one of her own relatives, but actress Emilia Clarke has no problem poking fun at the situation.

This morning, the Game of Thrones star shared a photo with co-star Kit Harington (who plays Snow) and called it "the family portrait," trolling their characters' accidentally incestuous relationship.

The photo, likely taken in Iceland between filming scenes, shows Clarke and Harington poking their heads through a cardboard cutout of a couple of vikings. The actress added some cheeky hashtags in her caption, including #jeneregretterien ("I have no regrets" in French) and #okmaybehereiseetheresemblance.

Harington isn't on Instagram, but he pokes fun at Jon and Daenerys's relationship on set too. Variety reported that the actor "would pretend to retch during their scenes," and he's been spotted jokingly pretending to hurl in behind-the-scenes footage.

On Sunday night's episode of Game of Thrones, Daenerys finally found out that Jon is the son of her older brother Rhaegar Targaryen, making her his aunt. However, her main concern is that Jon's parentage gives him a stronger claim to the Iron Throne because he is the last male Targaryen heir.

"There’s so much she’s seen and witnessed and been through and lost and suffered and hurt to get here… and Jon doesn’t even want it!" Clarke told Entertainment Weekly.

As for the incest? That's "so normal" to Daenerys, Clarke added to EW. "She could have easily married her brother. It’s not a thing."
