Emily Ratajkowski's latest street style is getting the Italian treatment.
The model and writer has landed in Italy for Milan Fashion Week. Today, she was photographed strutting the streets of the city while wearing an outfit that took inspiration from a raging trend circa the '90s and early 2000s: exposed thong straps.
Ratajkowski looked glamorous in a pair of low-slung, ivory white pants with a printed gold chain pattern all over. The low waist line gave an opportunity for her stringy black thong straps to peek out from underneath and over her hips.
She color coordinated the rest of the outfit with all-black pieces, including a skin-tight turtleneck top, strappy heeled sandals, sunglasses, and her Dior saddle bag.
Previously, Ratajkowski carried her Dior saddle bag to last week's COS's fall/winter 2022 runway show during New York Fashion Week. At the time, she paired the It Girl purse with a leather trench coat from the beloved minimalist brand. The outerwear, designed in a luscious shade of slate blue, featured sleek details from the dramatic lapels to the belted waist. She finished the ensemble off with slouchy black leather boots.
Back in June, the model opened up to POPSUGAR about her go-to wardrobe staples.
"I mean, I love wearing sneakers with a dress, especially as it's getting warmer in New York," she said. "It's the most comfortable-but-still-chic look that you can do. Other accessories, like what you do bag-wise and jewelry-wise, can dress it down. A larger bag makes it more casual, but if you do something tiny and kind of sexy, it can be great for night."
