Emma Chamberlain's Age and Net-Worth is Seriously Unbelievable
If you've been on Youtube at all in the past two years, you've probably heard the name Emma Chamberlain. The vlogging star is quickly taking over the platform with her hilarious down to earth attitude and her signature messy ponytail and caffeine addiction (same). Oh, and did I mention she is arguably more popular on Instagram than Kim Kardashian or Selena Gomez?
I know, I know, that sounds pretty unbelievable, but it's true! While Kim and Sel's 129 and 146 million followers blow Emma's 6.7 million out of the water, those 6.7 mill are way more engaged than Kim and Selena's fans. Taking the amount of likes and comments from an average post and dividing it by the amount of followers on an account will allow you to calculate a profile's engagement. And while Kim and Selena are at 9% and 5% engagement respectively, Emma's is at a whopping 25 percent! That means, a quarter of the people who follow her are interacting with her posts!
It's no surprise then, that the 17-year-old has a net-worth of 2.5 million dollars, estimated by one site. Despite her young age, Emma has over 7 million Youtube subscribers and almost 600 million views! It's because of this engagement that she makes a reported $6K a day from the videos.
But that's not where all of her money comes from. Emma is also taking advantage of all of those engaged Instagram followers, posting ads for companies like Hollister on her feed.

And then, there is her deal with the skincare brand Curology (you've prob seen her ad for it before, it's all over Youtube). With this deal, not only is Emma raking in the dough, but her skin has been looking better than ever! Considering the Youtube star is only 17, I see a lot more brand deals, Youtube money, and clear skin in her future.
