Emma Corrin, the actress playing Princess Diana in season four of The Crown, has been spotted recreating one of the royal’s signature looks.

Whilst filming on set last week outside the iconic Savoy Hotel, Corrin captured Diana’s style and personality perfectly. The actress wore a replica of the princess' Catherine Walker floral dress from the '80s, which the princess wore to the Barnado’s Champion Children Awards.

Corrin was pictured with Diana’s famous bouffant hair and gave a regal wave to a cast of extras who were playing the paparazzi.

The actress has also been spotted filming with her co-star Josh O'Connor, who plays Prince Charles. The pair were seen on set in Spain, as they recreated Diana and Charles' 1983 royal tour of Australia.

Corrin was cast as Diana in April last year, with the show's creator, Peter Morgan saying at the time: "Emma is a brilliant talent who immediately captivated us when she came in for the part of Diana Spencer."

"As well as having the innocence and beauty of a young Diana, she also has, in abundance, the range and complexity to portray an extraordinary woman who went from anonymous teenager to becoming the most iconic woman of her generation."

Series four of The Crown is expected to tell the story of Prince Charles and Princess Diana meeting and later having their sons Prince William and Prince Harry. The previous series followed the romance and heartbreak Charles had with Camilla Shand, who he eventually goes on to marry.
