Emmerdale's Dawn upsets Billy with Ross Barton plan

Emmerdale spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on ITV.

Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor has upset Billy Fletcher in tonight's (November 6) episode, as the illegal boxing ring storyline continued.

The latest instalment began with Ross Barton taunting Billy after he saw him training for his upcoming fight. Dawn clocked him, but he left before she came out of the house, and Billy wouldn't tell her what was going on or why Ross was back in the village.

When Billy returned from his run, Dawn told him that Clemmie and Lucas were missing. They quickly appeared after playing outside, but not before Billy told her that Jade has been threatening the family.

He came clean about the boxing matches, sharing that he's set to fight Ross again and that he's been doing it to earn money to support the family.

Afraid that the Jade situation was getting out of hand, Dawn called Ross over and told the two that they needed to sort their mess out.

"Listen, I've got a plan. We're gonna fix the fight," she told them. "You just need to make it convincing when you go down.

"Jade gets off your backs, nobody gets hurt."

Ross agreed to the plan, as long as they could make it look real, but Billy outright refused.

In a later chat, Dawn told him he needed to let go of his ego, which only upset him further.

After some questioning, he shared he felt like Ross was pushing for this because something was going on between him and Dawn again following their romance years ago.

An irritated Dawn denied that was the case, calling what she had with Ross "a fling, if that, it's not even relevant".

"I just don't want you getting seriously injured, or worse, six feet under," she continued. "You put our family in danger... you're gonna take that fall, accept it, and crack on. Okay?"

Mackenzie Boyd later told him that he understood his frustrations, but it was too risky to not stick to the plan. Will he go through with it or not?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
