TSX falls 0.56 percent

NEW YORK (Reuters) - ** The Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX fell 84.49 points, or 0.56 percent, to 15,071.01. ** Leading the index were Bombardier Inc , up 24.0 percent, Ensign Energy Services Inc , up 7.2 percent, and Precision Drilling Corp , higher by 6.4 percent. ** Lagging shares were Shopify Inc , down 11.3 percent, Bausch Health Companies Inc, down 7.0 percent, and Canopy Growth Corp, lower by 6.9 percent. ** On the TSX 92 issues rose and 151 fell as a 0.6-to-1 ratio favored decliners. There were 3 new highs and 11 new lows, with total volume of 225.5 million shares. ** The most heavily traded shares by volume were Bombardier Inc , Aurora Cannabis Inc and Crescent Point Energy Corp. ** The TSX's energy group fell 0.23 points, or 0.15 percent, while the financials sector slipped 2.16 points, or 0.75 percent. ** West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 1.26 percent, or $0.71, to $57.17 a barrel.
