Eric Young Jr., Braves leadoff man, bunts ball out of infield

Leadoff hitters are expected to get on base. How they do it is up to them.

Atlanta Braves centre-fielder Eric Young Jr. got things started on Thursday against the New York Mets with what can only be described as some kind of a Super Bunt.

Young's gamble paid off, as he caught the Mets' second baseman, right-fielder and broadcasters by surprise.

The Braves couldn't capitalize on the effort though, as the next batter grounded into a double-play. The Mets went on to win 6-3.
