Faces of B.C.fans from the FIFA World Cup
Soccer fans off every stripe are preparing to watch the FIFA 2014 World Cup final Sunday, when Germany squares off against Argentina.
CBC Radio's The Early Edition asked listeners to send in photos of themselves wearing their team colours for a chance to win an official FIFA 2014 Brazuca soccer ball, and a FIFA 2014 World Cup CD. The winner was selected through a random draw.
Elise Cote had the winning image, of her one-month-old son, and his father, cheering for Mexico.
"I am so happy!" she wrote, after finding out she won.
"This ball will be a lovely reminder of our 'World Cup baby' and his early start with soccer."
Many photos were received through the morning, from different teams, and of soccer fans young and old.
