Since winning American Idol in 2005, Carrie Underwood has released nine studio albums, 29 singles, and won over the hearts of millions of fans.

Now, everyone's favorite American Idol alumna just snagged her eighth Grammy! The "Denim & Rhinestones" singer posted a selfie to her 11.5 million Instagram followers holding her newest Grammy for Best Roots Gospel Album of 2021.

She captioned the photo: “Got a special delivery today! I put her with her sisters! This one feels extra sweet…❤️ @recordingacademy #Grammys #LuckyNumber8 ☺️”

Her new Grammy fit in perfectly next to her seven (yes, seven!) others. In the post she is wearing a t-shirt that says "I got this," which almost seems too perfect not to be planned.

Underwood received this award for her role as artist AND producer for her “My Savior” album released in March of 2021. The album includes 13 Christian Gospel songs, which differ from her classic country style.

Fans, particuarly American Idol ones who have followed Carrie's career since the beginning, have been nothing but supportive of Underwood’s latest triumph. One fan said: “YESSSSS! This one is my favorite until the next one. Love seeing you get producer credit too 😍👏.”

Other commenters said: “Evidence of God’s blessings! Keep putting Him first Carrie, the world needs more light like you!! ♥️♥️” and “I love this album and play it constantly for my little girls, they now each song word for word. Thank you for making the world a better place! ❤️”

Even American Idol's official account commented saying, “We are SO proud of you!”

Surely, this isn't the last for Carrie and with her recently released album Denim & Rhinestones, we're excited to see what she's nominated for next!
