Fans are calling Barack Obama's throwback birthday tribute to Michelle 'real relationship goals'
Betty White and Michelle Obama may share a birthday, but only one of them is getting a birthday greeting from Barack. Tough break, Betty.
The former first lady turned 55 on Jan. 17, but she’s significantly younger in the throwback photo husband Barack Obama posted to mark her special day. Taken sometime after the couple’s 1992 wedding — note his wedding band — the nostalgic pic is accompanied by the former president’s note that he “knew it way back then” that his wife was “one of a kind.”

As detailed in her bestselling autobiography, Becoming — which is breaking records on Amazon — the Obamas became a couple not long after she was assigned to mentor him at a Chicago law firm. An outing to get ice cream after a company picnic ended with their first kiss and kick-started what the former FLOTUS described in her book as a “toppling blast of lust, gratitude, fulfillment, wonder.”
Fans of the Obamas have reacted to the birthday tribute with awe — while more than a few have compared his post to President Trump’s own birthday celebrations for Melania last year.
