Fans love Padma Lakshmi rocking a pink bikini in Hawaii: ‘We don’t deserve this!’

Padma Lakshmi, 51, took to Instagram to show off her bikini body during a recent trip to Hawaii. The television personality posted videos of herself frolicking in a bright pink two-piece bathing suit, complete with a swimming cameo by daughter Krishna.

"New perfume? No, just chlorine and the Hawai'i breeze. Hanging by the pool," read the caption.

The video featured some pool hair flips, friendly splashing, and modelesque posing by the television host.

Fans and celebrities alike were all for Lakshmi's ab-baring post.

"We don't deserve this!" read one comment

"Omg!!! HAVE A BLAST! You deserve this break," read another.

She also documented some more fun moments from her trip on her Instagram stories.

"On a clear day you can see Honolulu in the distance past the lighthouse," read one post.

She also shared some more hair flips, this time joined by her daughter Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell, affectionately referred to as "little hands."

"Hair flips at the pool with Littlehands," read the post.

The following slide featured a glimpse of her daughter's ukulele lesson, followed by a photo of the Hawaiian sunset.

"Ukelele lessons with Kaui. Littlehands had so much fun," read the post.

The Top Chef host also shared photos of their "breathtaking" helicopter tour of Kauai.

"Littlehands and I spent an hour suspended over the island taking in all of the sights and incredible natural beauty," she wrote.

The love between Lakshmi and her daughter was evident — and all the more poignant with the context that Lakshmi thought she'd never conceive a child naturally. She's been open in the past about her journey with endometriosis, telling told People in 2020, "I was told I would never have children naturally, that I only had a 10 to 15 percent [chance] of having them in vitro. When you're staring down the barrel of your 40th birthday and you hear that you can't have kids because this disease went unchecked and undiagnosed for so many years, it's devastating."

This made the 2010 arrival of daughter Krishna all the more special. "I'm so lucky to have her," she said. "Her middle name is Thea, which means 'gift from God.'"
