Fans push Team USA bus out of snow ahead of WJC outdoor game

Fans helped push Team USA’s bus out of the snow ahead of the first outdoor game in WJC history. How fitting.

The lake effect snow which ripped through Buffalo all throughout Team USA’s 4-3 shootout win over Canada in the first ever world junior outdoor game on Friday affected more than just the quality of play.

The American side’s bus got trapped in a snow bank en route to Orchard Park’s New Era Field, but these fans pitched in with a few helping hands to make sure their team made it to the stadium on time.

The actions of the unsung heroes didn’t go unnoticed by the USA players, with one of its stars giving a shoutout to the crew that helped them out:

The City of Good Neighbors, indeed.
