Fantasy football scout tips gameweek 28: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Danny Ings, Reece James and more

Danny Ings

Danny Ings' form has dipped since that winter scoring run but he is still excellent value given a forthcoming run of good fixtures.

West Ham's home record is the joint-worst in the top flight, while Southampton are one of the few sides to perform better on their travels.

Harvey Barnes

While fantasy favourites Jamie Vardy and James Maddison have struggled for form, Harvery Barnes is offering consistent points from midfield.

Expect Barnes to be reinstated after coming off the bench against Manchester City. He should enjoy himself against basement club Norwich.

Reece James

Owned by less than one per cent of managers, Reece James offers a relatively cheap differential route into a defence which should be performing better.

Chelsea's underlying numbers suggest they should have kept more than just five clean sheets but a smooth run of upcoming fixtures stands in their favour.

Richarlison

Though Everton have hit a wall of tough fixtures in their schedule, it is difficult to ignore the form of both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.

Both have two goals and an assist in two. Either could capitalise on Everton's good home record this season when Manchester United vist Goodison Park.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

It is unlikely that Trent Alexander-Arnold is not part of your squad but if not, rectify your mistake. The Liverpool full-back set up two in Monday's 3-2 win over West Ham and was inches away from a hat-trick of assists.

Alexander-Arnold may be the first fantasy defender who is bona fide captaincy material and a trip to relegation-threatened Watford this weekend promises much.

Honourable mentions: Nick Pope, Federico Fernandez, Bruno Fernandes, Leandro Trossard, Jamie Vardy
