Female suspects sought after stabbing outside Eaton Centre

Toronto police are looking for a female suspect and two or three female companions after a stabbing outside the Eaton Centre early Friday morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the corner of Yonge and Dundas streets shortly before 12:30 a.m. They found one victim with multiple stab wounds to the torso, paramedics said. They transported the victim to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

The stabbing occurred as part of a robbery, police said. A security guard at the scene reported that the female suspect was with two or three other females at the time of the incident, Const. Caroline de Kloet told CBC Toronto.
