Finish island a number of the original stone homesteads remain standing. Long abandoned and desolate, most are now slowly filling with sand which blows in on the westerly winds and is trapped within the crumbling stone walls. Some locals were saying that the island is starting to split in two. You can see the rift starting to appear in the centre of the island!
