There's a lot that Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard has already accomplished. As the star of a hit Netflix series, he's essentially saved the town of Hawkins, Indiana, on multiple occasions, and IRL, he's done everything from fronting a major modeling campaign to performing in a rock band. However, as he recently revealed, there's one task that has previously eluded the star — passing his driving test.
During an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan, Finn admitted that he failed the written portion twice. "I failed it twice because I’m an actor, I guess, and dumb," he joked. "And then I just got so mad at myself that I just didn’t do it again."
Luckily, he's taking the failing grade in style, and admitted that in the meantime, he's relying on a little help from his friends. "I’m just having my friends drive me around," he said. "I don’t pay them but I probably should start paying them. It’s kind of ridiculous.”
There's no word on whether his Stranger Things costars have served as temporary drivers, but fans of the actor have shared their own experience with securing a license. Along with admitting their own struggles with the written test, others divulged they've failed it even more times, writing, "Don’t feel bad about failing your driver’s license test twice @FinnSkata. I failed 3 times. Ya know they really make a big deal out of running a red light during your road test. They act like its the end of the world!"
We'll have to stay tuned to see if Finn ends up hitting the road in the near future, but much like his Stranger Things character, he could always rely on a bike, or continue to entrust his pals for rides. We believe in you, Finn.
