Fire breaks out in Winnipeg’s Centennial neighbourhood

Fire crews managed to quickly extinguish a blaze in Winnipeg Centennial neighbourhood Thursday morning.

Crews rushed to a home in the 500 block of Bannatyne Avenue around 10:30 a.m.

At least five fire trucks attended the blaze, and smoke could be seen pouring out of the home’s front door before crews were able to fully extinguish it.

Fire officials could not immediately confirm if there were any injuries in the fire.
