A fire that broke out in a derelict building is being treated as arson.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service attended Newbold Road in Rugby at about 13:40 GMT and brought the blaze under control just after 16:30 with the help of a crew from Northamptonshire.

A fire service spokeswoman said the fire was believed to have been started deliberately and Warwickshire Police attended the incident.

The BBC has contacted the force for comment.
