Fire investigation underway after man found dead in shed of Clovis home, authorities say

A man was killed in a house fire Wednesday evening in Clovis.

Emergency personnel responded to the deadly fire in the 1200 block of Bullard avenue around 6 p.m.

Fire crews found a man dead in a shed in the backyard of a home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No other injuries were reported.

Bullard and Music avenues were closed while fire crews worked the blaze.

The identity of the victim has not been released, but authorities said he was in his 70s.
