Firefighters tackle blaze on Crawford Avenue

No one was hurt after a fire at a home on Crawford Avenue on Monday night, Windsor Fire says.

About half a dozen fire trucks and other emergency vehicles were on scene as of about 9 p.m..

Smoke could be seen billowing out of the roof of an older home, located between University Avenue and Wyandotte Street.

Windsor Fire said on Twitter that the fire caused an estimated $600,000 in damage.

The cause is undetermined.
