Do you ever wonder what happens to fish during winter?

Turns out, they’re just like humans in that some fish remain active and adapt well to the winter conditions, while others tend to take a bit of a 'winter break.'

In the video above, Jon Midwood, a research scientist at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, discusses the diverse types of fish found in Canadian lakes and their ability to survive and thrive in cold weather.
