Five injured, four arrested after crash involving alleged stolen car: Toronto police
TORONTO — Toronto police say the Special Investigations Unit, Ontario’s police watchdog, is investigating after a car crash involving an allegedly stolen vehicle that left five people injured Monday night.
Police say they were called to the scene in the city’s east end just after 10:30 p.m.
They say two vehicles were involved in a collision and that one of them was allegedly stolen.
Police say the allegedly stolen vehicle had five people inside. Four of them were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
They say a 51-year-old male driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries.
Police say four people have been arrested, including two men, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, while a search continues for a 16-year-old female suspect.
