Florence Pugh and Zach Braff have all but confirmed their relationship as the Little Women actor published a birthday tribute to the Scrubs star on his 45th birthday.

To mark his special day was on 6 April Pugh posted a photo of her beau napping with his pet dog as she shared they would be "partying hard".

The Midsommar star wrote: "Today we shall smile wider than the clouds are grey. April 6th and we’re celebrating hard!

"Happy Birthday wishes, boogies and cheers for this special person. Raise those bubbles and jiggle!"

The pair have kept it low-key when it comes to their relationship, which has a 21-year age gap.

Pugh has previously defended their union against criticism after one Instagram comment on a previous post pointed out Braff's age.

She hit back by replying: "And yet he got it."

The 24-year-old starred in Braff's short film In The Time It Takes To Get There in April 2019, and the couple were seen hand in hand while strolling through New York in the same month.

Meanwhile, Pugh’s career has gone from strength to strength in the past year after a critically acclaimed performance in Midsommar and an Academy Award nominated turn in Little Women as Amy March.

However, she lost out on the accolade as the Best Supporting Actress gong went to her co-star Laura Dern at the ceremony for her role in Marriage Story.

Pugh is set to star opposite Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming Black Widow film, although it has had its release date delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
