Florida company recalls more store brand juice — Walmart, Aldi, others — for arsenic
Even more apple juice sold under Walmart’s store brand and the store brands of eight national retailers now are under recall by the Tampa company that produced them.
“Products contains inorganic arsenic above action level set in guidance to industry,” said the FDA enforcement alert to which Walmart hyperlinked Friday.
Here’s the breakdown of the 133,500 cases of apple juice recalled by Refresco Beverages, which actually publicly announced this recall expansion, unlike the way it low-keyed the Aug. 15 original recall of Walmart’s Great Value apple juice.
