“Forbidden Love”'s Lindsey Is 'Livid' When She Learns Elmer Is Watching Porn '3-5 Times a Day' as He Blames Amish Upbringing

In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at the series premiere of 'Forbidden Love', Lindsey demands that Elmer tell her "the truth" after she accuses him of watching porn again

Forbidden Love’s Lindsey has had enough of Elmer’s excuses for watching porn.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive look at the series premiere of the new TLC reality show — which follows four couples navigating the challenges of coming from different faiths — Lindsey, 34, is upset when she once again finds porn on Elmer’s phone.

“I need you to be honest with me. Have you been looking up porn? Tell me the truth,” she demands.

Elmer, 23, who recently left his Amish community, admits that he had looked at porn “a couple days ago.”

In a confessional, Lindsey admits that this is not the first time that she’s found porn on her husband’s phone.

“Porn has been an issue since before we got married,” she admits. “But when Elmer started using technology, he couldn't handle it and became obsessed with it.”

She recalls finding “big boobs stuff” in Elmer’s search history but says she thought he had moved past his interest in porn. "We discussed it and I thought we were done with that so I am livid.”

Lindsey then confronts her husband about his recent online activities.

“I thought I could trust you after you said you were changing the last time I'd go through your phone,” she tells him. “And then here, yet again, it's happening. I see all these porn visits to different sites.”

Despite his apology, she continues, “Like Elmer, you know how much this is a big deal to me."

Lindsey tells Elmer in a confessional, “I thought we were done with this.”

“I thought so too but you got to understand, growing up Amish was hard and oppressing and stuff,” he responds. “And now I come out here, I mean, it's overwhelming and it's messed up, but it's…”

Lindsey interrupts him and says, “But you don't care.” The pair then argues about whether or not he is “trying to work” on the issue but Lindsey insists it’s “still a problem.”

“Yeah, I have a problem,” Elmer responds. “I know I do.”

Finally, Lindsay has had enough and candidly tells her husband, “Three to five times a day is not normal." He then counters, “It's not three to five times a day. That’s f---ed up.”

The fight escalates when Lindsey recalls “several instances where I'm sitting there home alone, I'm horny and I know for a fact that instead, you were going and jacking off to porn in the parking lot instead of doing your wife.”
