Fort Worth’s Taylor Sheridan of ‘Yellowstone’ to serve steaks at famed Las Vegas hotel
Texas’ legendary Four Sixes Ranch will come to life in a Las Vegas casino hotel as a pop-up steakhouse by “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan.
The Wynn Las Vegas will serve prime steaks from the Northwest Texas ranch along with sides and craft cocktails as part of a Four SIxes Ranch Steakhouse “experience” Sept. 16-Nov. 3. It will be a nightly special inside the 45-story luxury hotel’s breakfast restaurant, Tableau.
Four Sixes Ranch rib-eye and tomahawk steaks are already served in another of the hotel restaurants, SW Steakhouse.
The special menu for Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse features six steaks ranging from a filet mignon to a 40-ounce porterhouse called the “Boss Cut.”
Sides include garlic “campfire potatoes,” duck-fat steak fries, refried limas and a Four Sixes chimichurri.
Sheridan, a Parker County resident, was quoted by the hotel as saying the pop-up will be “dedicated to honoring authentic cuisine” and will highlight “time-honored recipes on the ranch.”
“The passions in my life are telling stories and food and with each plate served at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse, Chef David [Middleton] and I get to do both,” Sheridan was quoted.
From the hotel announcement: “Guests will be transported to one of the most storied ranches in America, creating an environment that engages all the senses with bold flavors and preparations. ... Sheridan, the ranch owner known for ‘Yellowstone,’ ‘1883,’ and ‘1923,’ has reignited the spirit of the American West through his compelling narratives.”
In 2022, Sheridan and 101 Studios investors David Glassner and Dan Schryer bought Cattlemen’s Steak House in Fort Worth, 2458 N. Main St.
It’s undergoing a $3 million remodeling to add a patio and improve private dining rooms. The restaurant now serves Four Sixes steaks.
