Four Bayham staff made more than $100,000 in 2020. The provincial Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act requires all organizations covered by the Act to prepare a list (“Sunshine List”) of the employees who were paid $100,000 or more the year before, along with the names, positions, salaries, and value of taxable benefits.

Bayham council, without discussion, received the list in a virtual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 18.

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Clerk Paul Shipway, who has since left the position, was paid $141,741 (with $1,029 in taxable benefits); Manager of Capital Projects and Water/Wastewater Edward Roloson, $131,186 ($1,029); Treasurer James Lorne, $102,192 ($797); and Chief Building Official and Drainage Superintendent William Knifton, $103,837 ($833).
