Frank Ocean's mom shares photo mourning death of Ryan Breaux, her 18-year-old son

Frank Ocean's mother, Katonya Breaux, made her first social media post since the death of her 18-year-old son, Ryan, who died over the weekend in a car crash.

Without any commentary, Katonya shared a photo on Instagram Wednesday of her son, who went by Ryan Breaux, hugging her.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirmed Wednesday in a news release that Ryan, whose legal name was Ryan Moore, was one of two victims involved in a fatal traffic collision in Thousand Oaks, California, just after 1:30 a.m. local time Sunday.

The other victim was Ezekial Bishop, 20. The collision, which investigators believe may have been partially caused by speed, remains under investigation by the Thousand Oaks Police Department Traffic Bureau.

Breaux appeared on his older brother Frank Ocean's 2016 album "Blonde," on the track "Futura Free."

USA TODAY has reached out to Ocean's representative for comment.

Following the fatal accident, many others shared their own tributes, including model Kaia Gerber, who mourned the loss of Breaux and Bishop with photos and videos of the three of them goofing off.

"ryan and zeek, my heart is so heavy right now," she wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday. "I can’t put into words how grateful I am for every second I was lucky enough to spend with you. the two people who made me smile the biggest. I will never forget that. I can still feel you here. I can still hear your laughs. I promise to keep trying to smile for you, I love you both forever. rest peacefully always by each other’s side."

"I love you forever and ever and ever," commented model Bella Harris on Breaux's last Instagram post. "My little brother."

Perez Hilton wrote: "Sending #light and #strength to all of your loved ones as well as to the family of the other victim as well. My deepest condolences."
