Free virtual escape room to be offered in Ridgetown

·1 min read

Families can experience the wonders of the aurora borealis or northern lights this winter for free.

Chatham-Kent Public Library is offering a virtual escape room with a twist.

Participants will solve a series of virtual puzzles at home and then bring a password to a CKPL branch, where they unlock a box to unleash the northern lights.

“Light the Night!” will be available from December 28 to January 14 at the Ridgetown, Chatham, and Tilbury branches and January 24 to February 11 at Blenheim, Dresden and Wallaceburg branches.

“Participants can access the puzzles by registering at their local branch,” said Stefanie Yeoman, Children’s Services Librarian.

Yeoman said Light the Night! is a family activity geared to children seven and up. For those interested, Yeoman suggests contacting their local library branch for more information.

Visit www.ckpl.ca to find branch hours and locations.
