French Immersion school brief

A new French Immersion Catholic elementary school in Sarnia is edging closer to reality.

The St. Clair Catholic District School Board has chosen London-based Cornerstone Architecture to design the structure.

The move was approved at the board’s Jan. 26 meeting.

It’s the second time the St. Clair has partnered with Cornerstone, having designed the Angela Merici Catholic School in Chatham, the board’s newest addition.

A total of seven proposals for the new French school were submitted to the board.
