An enraged customer who smashed at least a dozen products at an Apple Store in Dijon, France will now face the consequences.

The man was caught on camera lining up display phones on a table and smashing them one by one. He was wearing sunglasses, a red hoody and a bulky beige glove on his left hand. In the glove was a steel ball that he uses to pound down on the devices.

Security alarms can then be heard ringing in the background. Staff can be heard off camera yelling at the man. Once he notices that he’s being filmed, the angry customer addresses the camera.

“Apple is a company that violated European consumers’ rights. They refused to reimburse me,” he yells. “I told them ‘Give me my money back’. They said no. So you know what is happening? This is happening!“

He then continues to slam the steel ball down on several of the phones, before destroying a computer.

A man in a red security vest then approaches the culprit, who walks out of the store. Another video shows him being confronted by three security guards.

The damage is estimated to be tens of thousands of dollars. The man was eventually arrested and placed in custody.
