Frolik signs 1 year, $3.3M deal with Winnipeg Jets
The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed Michael Frolik to a one-year, $3.3 million deal.
The two sides were scheduled to go to salary arbitration on Thursday.
The 26-year-old centreman joined the team last season after being traded from the Chicago Blackhawks, where he won a Stanley Cup in 2012-13.
In 81 games for the Jets, Frolik scored 15 goals and added 27 assists for a total of 42 points.
"He plays with energy, he kills penalties, he's versatile," Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff.
"It really comes back to that he's just a tremendous person on and off the ice."
