Gabrielle Union's Immaculate Cornrows Simply Must Be Viewed From Every Angle

I'm prone to getting bored with my hair, so if I had the kind of resources Gabrielle Union does, I would absolutely change up my look as frequently as she changes up hers. She has already bounced around between several different lengths and textures multiple times since the year began, and she shows no signs of slowing down — though she must have slowed down a little for her latest hairstyle because there's no way this level of precision was achieved without taking the proper time to perfect it.

Union attended the SXSW world premiere of the new film The Idea of You, not as an actor but as a producer. But even though she doesn't appear in the movie, she still walked the red carpet like the starlet she is, wearing a chic, black, sleeveless suit with unexpected shorts. What wasn't short, however, was her hair.

Crafted by her go-to stylist, Larry Sims, Union's hair reached well past her waist. But you have to steer your eyes to her scalp to get the full picture of how incredible she looked. Made up of about two dozen meticulous braids, her cornrows start out tapered at her hairline, thickening a bit along her head, and coming together at the nape of her neck before dangling several gorgeous feet.

With the amount of time and effort that was clearly put into this protective style, I wouldn't be surprised if Union decided to stick with it for a while. But then again, if her history is any indication of her future, she'll be showing up to another event with a totally new look within a day or two.
