Gananoque food bank collection a hit

Members of the Gananoque and Area Food Bank is thanking the community for helping make last week’s Community Harvest Food Bank collection a success.

Organizers say there were about 40 volunteers in total who went door-to-door in the community looking for collections.

Members of the local churches, the Gananoque and Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Fire Services, all gave their support for this initiative.

There were several truckloads of food delivered to the food bank in Gananoque, as well as cash donations.
