Gananoque Home Hardware supports Cancer Society

With April being Cancer Awareness Month, Gananoque's Home Hardware Building Centre has announced it is donating a portion of its sales on Saturday and Sunday, along with on April 26 and 27.

There will be cupcakes available, prepared by Tammy’s Specialties, which is a local business from the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, that provides homemade baked goods and candy for all holidays and special occasions.

Cupcakes are $4, cash only, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Kingston Cancer Society.

And to help bolster the excitement for this cause, staff say that, depending on weather, a store associate will be riding a stationary bike outside.
