The maximum price of gas across Newfoundland and Labrador is up more than two cents a litre Thursday morning.
The Public Utilities Board increased the cost of regular unleaded by 2.4 cents a litre. That means the most you'll pay for regular unleaded on the Avalon Peninsula is around $1.40.
Diesel, meanwhile, is up a little bit more — by 2.6 cents a litre.
Furnace and stove heating oil are both up by 2.17 cents per litre.
Prices for propane heating fuel will see no change.
