Gas dips into nifty 50s at Regina station

Just when you thought the cost of filling the tank couldn't get any lower, a Regina station has brought prices to a new level.

The Regina Cabs station on Saskatchewan Drive started selling fuel for 59.9 cents per litre today, according to GasBuddy.com.

The drop comes following a steady decline the past few weeks across the province.

Prices haven't been this low in at least 10 years, according to Gas Buddy statistics. The closest was in 2008 when the pumps went down to the low 70s per litre.

The average price is still 68 cents per litre in Regina and 64.2 cents per litre in Saskatoon.
