Gas nudges up 2 cents per litre

Saskatchewan gas prices could drop even lower

Gas is going to be a little more expensive this week in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Public Utilities Board's latest adjustment has increased the maximum price that can be charged for gasoline by 2.1 cents per litre.

On the Avalon Peninsula, that means regular unleaded self-serve gas can not sell for more than $1.235 per litre, or $1.242 in the Corner Brook area.

According to the latest PUB update, diesel motor fuel has gone down by 0.4 cents per litre and will go up by 0.1cpl in Labrador.

Furnace oil and stove oil have both decreased by 0.06 cpl and propane heating fuel has gone down by 0.5 cpl.
