Gas station and convenience store in Penns Valley is closing after more than 25 years
A gas station and convenience store in Penns Valley that has been open for more than 25 years is closing at the end of September.
Snappy’s, located at 2892 Earlystown Road, Centre Hall, will close Sept. 26, according to a statement put out by the company.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Snappy’s in Centre Hall due to circumstances beyond our control. For over a quarter of a century, it has been our honor and pleasure to serve this wonderful community. The bonds and memories we have built are irreplaceable,” reads the statement, which was signed by Keith Powell.
In the statement, Powell said their commitment to the Penns Valley community “remains steadfast,” and they’ll continue supporting the area through their partner company, JJ Powell.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your patronage, trust, and loyalty. We hope to see you in our other locations throughout the area,” the statement reads.
