George Conway Finds Yet Another Way To Call Out Trump's Lies
George Conway, the husband of top White House aide Kellyanne Conway, continued to bash President Donald Trump on Twitter Monday.
The conservative attorney tweeted:
And also a disgrace that nothing he says—not even his denial of something as extraordinary as this—can be taken at face value. https://t.co/wKMNXeuhW9

Conway was responding to former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s tweet:
It’s a disgrace that the President acts in a way to necessitate that question. https://t.co/xd2DjHdZm2

In recent months, Conway has become an outspoken and vocal critic of the Trump administration that his wife so often defends on television. He also retweeted a slew of posts that were critical of Trump:
Trump says many of the Democrats in Congress are "calling" him and saying "we agree with you" on the shutdown.
Like many of the suspiciously-helpful-to-Trump phone calls Trump describes, there is little chance this is not a lie.— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) January 14, 2019
THREAD: Has anyone noticed the very disturbing overlap between Trump’s insistence on preventing his own staff from learning about discussions with Putin at the Hamburg G20 meeting in July 2017 and how he handled initial revelations about the infamous Trump Tower meeting? 1/ https://t.co/t60jRyrhis

Yes, Trump discussed “adoptions” (sanctions policy) with Putin the night before dictating his son’s “adoptions” statement. There was no interpreter but he mentioned it in passing to the Times. I’ve been shouting this from the rooftops since August 2017...https://t.co/5JbRZITx8f https://t.co/Mixsm3c52I

On Friday, Conway took Trump to task over the ongoing partial government shutdown:

Not weird at all. Trump is a master at alienating people he ought to be trying to, and should be able to, persuade. And that’s because he can’t make a coherent argument. He’s incompetent. https://t.co/6UVhozshzM

That incompetence, along with his ingrained, pathological narcissism, leaves us with a president who does little more than spout nonsense and lies, and pander to those who feed his egotistic needs. And all of this makes rational governance impossible.
